Quark layout artist / typesetter required to help with design of a high profile student magazine. The role will involve working with the deputy editor/art director to turn photoshop mockups into Quark files. You must be able to travel to Camberwell in S/E London. This will involve 4-7 days work over the next month. While creative input would be desirable, we are primarily looking for someone with good knowledge and expereince of using Quark for print, as this is what we lack. Unfortunatly this is an upaid position, and so it would suit a student or web/multimedia designer with knowledge of Quark and print processes who is looking to build up their portfolio. The editorial and design on this magazine are very high quality, and the magazine is supported by the Department for Education and Skills, so it would be a usefull addition to your portfolio. Travel expenses and lunch will be provided, and you will get a credit on the magazine.
