I would like to hire a Software Developer

For our research, we are using syringe pumps that can receive instructions via serial command (RS-232). We would like to have a simple graphical interface available to pilot multiple syringe pumps simultaneously (all syringe pumps are connected to 1 serial interface). The program could be (in order of preference) written in Java, inside Matlab (with a GUI) or python, and will be used on a Windows 7 operating system mostly (but should be portable on any platform on the long run).
