Flash Button with Action Script We need a simple flash button that take an input text string and copy it into the local computer's clipboard. Full specs for the button: It will accept the following input parameters: title - text string color - text color in hex background-color - in hex width - in px height - in px font font-size font-weight text - text string Using these, it will build an ordinary rectangular button that looks like any button produced by the html <button> tag, using the parameters and substituting default values for any missing params (use the normal defaults for a gray button appropriately sized to fit the defaul arial text). The title is the text that is to be displayed on the button (eg. 'Submit', 'Click Here' etc) The action script is to do the following: 1. take the text string and copy it into the computer's clipboard so it can be accessed normally by other programs running locally on the computer. 2. return to DOM/Javascript whatever value is necessary so that the website in which the button is embedded knows that the button has been pressed and released, and can then do whatever other action it needs to take as a result of the button being pressed (eg display an alert or submit a form) Button must be compatible with Flash 8 and up, including the new security features in flash 10. It must also work cross-browser in Windows and on Macs. Probably use [login to view URL] to embed? To demonstrate that this all works correctly, please produce a simple web page in which the button is embedded next to a text input field. When the button is pressed, it should take whatever has been typed into that input field and put it into the clipboard, and then it should display an alert saying that the text has been copied. The alert should be produced by javascript NOT by the action script itself. Even better if you can produce a demo in which we can enter different colors, fonts etc to restyle the button. This is work for hire - once project is completed and paid, all copyright will be owned by us. We will want to receive the following: completed, compiled, flash button, the code to embed the button with the desired parameters, the associated javascript to make the demo work, and all the source files for Flash and the action script. If some or all of this is impossible to achieve with current technology, please let us know which parts are not possible.
