Build program STL executed in Ubuntu

The project can only use C++ language and able to execute with g++ compiler in Ubuntu terminal (that comes packaged in Ubuntu linux). The programs need to be able to read in files and able to process the [login to view URL] records inside the file will contain data from different class and it's unsorted and may have multiple duplicates. So the requirements for the program is to read in records from a user-specified filename, removes duplicate data, filter data according to sorting and store the records in the filename. You have to use STL containers and not array to store in the data. More info will be given if you can do with the requirements stated above.
