git files copied to /var/www/html in one step?

Need to do a git / clone / check out / pull or some exercise Here is my target folder /var/www/html I want to be able to copy the contents here but always ends up with a subfolder and not the files Currently doing a git clone like below git clone [login to view URL] 1) What is the command that will do what is illustrated above? 2) The command must work even if files are in the folder existing 3) Want this to be a single step doing the git exercise. Is $10 ok? (If not how much?) (Did I miss something?) We can work on Google Hangouts or any desktop sharing you may have? Please share your thoughts?
