install the glibc_2.18 into the centos 7 server

we want to install the glibc_2.18 into the centos 7 server , we already have the [login to view URL] multiple versions on the server but our application needs this dependancy . The most important thing to be noted is that the newer version 2.18 once installed then it should not take down the server and should not impact the ongoing behaviour of the other process runing on the server .The tech need to be the expertise and should be confident to get the solution worked for this . We have already tried the below mkdir /glibc_install; cd /glibc_install wget [login to view URL] tar zxvf [login to view URL] cd glibc-2.18 mkdir build cd build ../configure --prefix=/usr make -j4 make install export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/[login to view URL] patchelf --set-interpreter /opt/glibc-2.18/lib/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 --set-rpath /opt/glibc-2.18/lib:/usr/lib64
