I am currently working on my MSc project and during scalability testing I need to turn my Linux VM to MPLS router with OSPF which I could configure further.
This is 4th day and approx. 30h when I’m trying to figure out how to get this working...
I did install Quagga Routing Suite as per below syntax:
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove quagga
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove quagga
sudo rm -r /usr/local
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install quagga
sudo apt-get install nmap
sudo cp /usr/share/doc/quagga/examples/[login to view URL] /etc/quagga/[login to view URL]
sudo cp /usr/share/doc/quagga/examples/[login to view URL] /etc/quagga/[login to view URL]
sudo cp /usr/share/doc/quagga/examples/[login to view URL] /etc/quagga/[login to view URL]
sudo nano /etc/quagga/daemons (edit: zebra=yes, ospfd=yes)
sudo nano /etc/quagga/[login to view URL] (comment out: service integrated-vtysh-config)
ll /etc/quagga (check permissions)
sudo chown quagga:quagga /etc/quagga/[login to view URL]
sudo chown quagga:quaggavty /etc/quagga/[login to view URL]
sudo chown quagga:quagga /etc/quagga/[login to view URL]
sudo nano /etc/environment (add: VTYSH_PAGER=more)
sudo /etc/init.d/quagga restart
nmap localhost (check listening ports)
More details are in the document including the pictures, logs are in the attached TXT files.
Can you help me out to get this LDPd to work?
I just need to get this to run with OSPFd as remaining configuration doesn’t differ too much from Cisco IOS CLI.
