Gmail servers are configured to reject incoming emails from IP addresses that do not have reverse DNS. When a sending server makes a connection to the recipient server, the Gmail servers notes the sending IP address and performs a reverse lookup, called a PTR lookup, named after the type of DNS record used.
If the result of the reverse lookup matches the result of a forward DNS Lookup, then they deliver the message in user inbox. If the IP address doesn't match, which in my case it doesnt they think its spoofed and therefore they are considering it as a spam.
My messages are going in spam because I have not created a PTR record for my email server.
We need to update PTR records or reverse DNS records on my VPS control
I need someone who has done this before.
thanks
