Ongoing graphic design project

We are in need of a graphic designer who can be on call for our companies and our clients. We currently operate a local marketing company that provides products and services such as website design, online marketing, social media management, flyers, print ads, SEO, etc. We also are launching a company that markets our marketing and operations consulting service specifically to fitness centers. I had a long-standing freelance graphic designer that is no longer able to help us because of family commitments. What I'm looking for in a long-term partner: * Great communication and interpretation skills - often times I just have an idea and some content and I'll need you to translate that into great design * Ability to understand the piece, its target market and what the end goal of the piece is. I don't need design for design's sake, I need design to drive actions * Ability to design pieces that can be converted/replicated in Publisher - I know this seems crazy, but a lot of my clients have Publisher and often we have to be able to make small changes (pricing, etc.) on the fly. * Ability to replicate and grow current brand standards. Each of the brands we work with have existing design themes, but many could use to be slowly refreshed a little. * Ability to prioritize projects and understand the amount of time needed for each. Often we will have several projects going at once, but many aren't immediate. Sometimes, we have stuff that needs done as soon as possible. The other CRITICAL part is to be effective with your time. Often I need a quick mock up for something. When I need this, its just something we can use to show an idea and doesn't have to be perfect. Also, I love seeing multiple versions of things so they have to be done without investing too much time in details. I also love seeing works in progress so I can learn how you design and make suggestions along the way. * Ability to work with my team and occasionally clients While I am new to freelancer, I have been using elance and freelancers to supplement our business for almost 10 years now. I'm not sure what the total work load will look like, I would imagine it in the 5-10 hours per week range for right now. Can't wait to get started!
