Hello! I'm a research student in image processing and machine learning. I've taken projects involving signal processing, various graph theoretical algorithms, convolution and standard neural nets in applying to medical imaging. Past project: The latest one was a MS thesis on biometrics. Another one, was pedestrian crossing detection in various lighting conditions like sunny glare, night, shade using single monocular camera from ZED. While previous one included gesture images, the other included collecting road scenes to work with. THE ALGORITHMS were: background and foreground separation, perspective mapping, color and white balance, connected components, blob detection under constraints in video frames at 500fps processing rate. Tools: I work with MATLAB /Octave and Python mostly. For real-time operations I use C++ with OpenCV. I do development work on Linux. Documentation: I've done academic writing for library packages, university assignment, research papers for MS and PhD thesis, and thesis writing.
