I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - in the first step, the prybar model should be analyzed from the practical point of views... (engineering experience, visual appealing - you know that the bar could be made in super material, but if it is not looking strong enough, will not gave confidence to the users...) 2 - at least two or three scenarios should be created, where the support point to be different and the pull force applyed... 3 - based on the result of fea, some features could be improved or even significantly redesigned... 4 - the handle is ok, but depends a bit on the shape... hi if we choose the correct matrerial for die casting the bar according to the stresses and safety factor heat treatment wont be needed. also the handle is rubber or any plastic. no need any precision
