Time and task tracking App (iPhone, Windows and Android )
We need a secure, simple time and task tracking app created to record and report on users time spent on tasks within projects.
There will be about 100 - 200 users using this app daily.
The idea is the user logs on and the system recognises them and then the user selects the project ( added from pre-populated list in the admin portal ) , date ( auto selected for current date but changeable ), the time ( shown in 5 minute intervals) and drop down box of tasks ( pre populated from admin portal ) to recorded their time and the task they are working on against within that project.
Also drop down box of pre populated locations ( office / site / remote location add location and then ‘use my location’ which uses the GPS location of the user to record their current location )
If a task is not listed in the pre populated list then a user needs the ability to add task and for system to then remember that task for future and record this back to the admin portal for users to report against.
There needs to be different user groups ( managed in admin portal ) which generate different project and task lists and not just one large pool of projects and tasks.
User groups examples include :
Financial
Project Manager
Design
Management
Health and safety
Etc
The ability to also add or upload a photo / document against a time period.
Then the ability for a user to save and submit to their manager their weekly timesheets which recorded all the above information.
The weekly data is then recorded in user profile. Once submitted to manager the data can not be changed.
Various reports to be created from data showing pie charts covering how time is spent for each user on what task.
