Mobile Application Developer

We are currently looking for a Mobile Application Developer to design and develop iPhone and/or Android mobile applications in a MAC / Windows environment. Responsibilities: Implement high quality, secure and maintainable code that conforms to iOS platform standards Develop mobile applications using industry best practices with focus on performance and quality Test and debug mobile applications using both coded and manually executed test cases on mobile devices. The candidate should clearly communicate status and open issues to team and manager Work effectively within a team environment to implement projects in a timely manner. The candidate should be willing to work remotely 100% of the time Qualifications: Available to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, M-F, 9-5 Deep knowledge of mobile apps development in native iOS and/or Android for their current/latest versions. Focus on teamwork. Knowledge of agile process and ability to work in an agile environment, collaborative environment with developers and stakeholders. Deep understanding of Web Application Development and CMS (Wordpress, Joomla, Magento, etc) Able to work effectively under pressure, independently, and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision making. Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of related experience in software development with 2+ years of freelancer experience, and enterprise experience in native iOS/Android app development The Candidate MUST have recent experience developing 1 or more apps for mobile platforms (iPhone, iPad, Android, or Android-based tablets) Preferred: Portfolio of published apps Experience with mobile technologies and smart phone apps Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, including interpersonal skills.
