I am attempting to create a simple app for personal use to aid a person that can not speak to make a phone call. The idea is to connect the call, type text, use text to speech to talk and converse on the phone line (all through the app). My app can easily turn text into speech and make a normal phone calls. The problem is when a call is initiated my app is sent to the background. At that point I can no longer create text and perform the text to speech function. I am looking for ios swift code that can accomplish this. The final product would be a simple ios project demonstrating the capability desired (not a refined app).
