Linux administrator in Bucharest

We are in need of “Linux Administrator” in Romania, Bucharest.

Please see the responsibilities for Linux Administrator role and level of experience Intermediate:

Every Linux administrator is responsible for installing the necessary procedures and security tools. He works with the Data Network Engineer and other personnel/departments to analyze hardware requirements and alternatives and make acquisition recommendations. Linux administrator’s duty is to upgrade the softwares installed on to the server, including upgrading virus software’s and code upgrades.

Ability to work with Linux-friendly applications and able to troubleshoot it when issue arises from the server. User and group management. Managing files permissions. Monitoring of servers is also one of his important duties. Server installation, maintenance, documentation and support. Application installation, maintenance, documentation and support. Network and server performance monitoring and analysis. Server and Application security maintenance and review. Research and Development for key IT infrastructure and strategies. Ensure redundancy and stability for all critical systems. Ensure data protection and recoverability for all supported systems. Escalate/communicate issues and concerns as necessary. Experience working with Linux server operating systems including CentOS and Redhat with focus on email and website hosting. Linux Server (RedHat, CentOS) as well as postfix/sendmail/MySQL skills preferredCompensation:

Salary: 2500 to 2700 euros per month

Duration of job: 1 year

Languages: English

Work timings: Monday - Friday - 9 am to 5 pm
