Website Full or Partial Rebuild

My Lifestyle Solutions (MLS) [login to view URL] is an online social network that is currently in need of a partial or full rebuild (vendor feedback needed for decision on this). The website was built on ASP and SQL Server, so providers will have to be well versed with this platform. MLS has the features you would generally expect from a social networking site: - Membership - Friend Lists - Messaging - Photo Albums * - Public forum for issues & solutions (think of Yahoo Questions and answers) - Polls - User submitted jokes and quotes (goes through approval process) - Editors blog* - Site search - Complete administrative functionality to manage all site functions …etc.. In addition MLS has a few more features which are of worthy mention Point system – this system into all functions on the site e.g. points awarded for bidding on auction items, points awarded for posting issues or solutions, points awarded for referring friends to the site, points accumulated based on referred friends activities on the site…etc (please click question mark on home page for full explanation of how points are awarded) Auctions – these work like any other auctions the main difference being that users pay per bid on an item, and integration with Interswitch (a Nigerian payment gateway) is required, some assistance will be provided here. Fun Stuff – this section contains various java/flash based games and a record of all time highs is kept and displayed on this page* Advertising * - an advertising module that keeps track of clicks, impressions, etc is needed, as well as ample space for ads created all over the site (* new features not on current site) Requirements - A working development version of the current site will have to be created before any work commences - All data (users, issues….etc) will have to be imported into the new site - The project timeline is 6 – 8 weeks
