Ram Drive App

I need to have a driver written that creates a ramdrive/ramdisk. This ramdrive should run on all 32-bit versions of Win2000, ME, XP, Vista, Windows7 (single or multiprocessor). Microsoft have an example written in c for a simple ramdrive that works in Win2000: [url removed, login to view];EN-US;q257405& We need to be able to change some of the ramdrive settings using a small tool. I have created the layout of this tool (attached) using Visual Studio 2008. 1. Formatting to FAT12 , FAT16 , FAT32 or NTFS / NTFS with compression 2. Ability to load a disk image to format and populate the ramdisk at driver initialization 3. Saving the content to a raw disk image at shutdown or at regular intervals or particular times 4. No conflicts with other, existing RAMDisk software on the market 5. Use free InnoSetup installer to create an installer. See attached mockup for complete list of features required. 1. Please lay out components in the dialog exactly as in the mockup 2. volume id should be auto-generated by app and unique 3. settings should be stored in windows registry You can read this page (similar ramdisk program) if you don't understand some of the settings in the dialog mockup: [url removed, login to view] The project must compile in Visual Studio 2008 using ATL. ## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
