I am looking for someone to clone the site [login to view URL] for me. I am NOT looking for a premade script that does something simulare. I am looking a made from scratch site with my new domain name. I want the same funstions and features as my space. What I want to do is to offer the same thing without advertisments. It will be an add free site. But for it to be add free I will charge people $5.00 for the year to join. Please make sure you thorughly look through [login to view URL] to make sure you see everything that is entitled to clone the site. I need an easy web panel for me to over view the site and manage it as well. I am looking to also modify a few things but nothing to major. Please provde me with your cheapest bid which I am on a very limited budget, your qualifications, your avaiability to be contacted ie.. phone, AOL IM, MSN IM etc... How long the job will take you etc... Please only bid if you can get this done in a timly manor with all of what I am looking for. Thank You, Joe Additional Info: 1. Plan for the future. The site WILL need to change with the times. This is important for 2 reasons. First, you'll need a coder who writes clean, efficient, and well-commented code to ensure other coders can pick up and make enhancements. Second, you'll want the site to be as modular as possible. I suggest using Smarty templates, PHP, and CSS to separate all design, code, and structure. This will allow specific tasks to be worked on and modified separately. 2. Start with the basics allowing for enhancement. That is, don't start with all the features of myspace. I can tell you that you'll end up with alot of non-completed work going through RAC with that many requirements. The coder should build the basic functionality of the site with the end result in mind so that each feature can be added as you go-- again, modularity. 3. The database design is a VERY important step and many PHP developers are weak in this aspect. You want somebody who understands relational database concepts to make the site as fast and efficeint as possible. The database should be designed with all the features and possible enhancements in mind. Let me say this: Plan plan plan. Spend plenty of time on this part. Many coders give you exactly what you ask for and nothing more. Be as specific as possible. Basically, here's what you should do. Spend alot of time on Myspace and identify each major function and/or feature and then break those up into sub-funtions... - Administration - Delete Users - Update Content - Global Message - etc... - Signup/Login - Login as guest member - Create Account - Login - Keep track of who's logged in - etc... - Messages - Send a Message - Inbox - Sent Messages - etc... Then, when you have a plan, break the project into phases and only commit to a coder for one phase as a test to ensure that coder works out. Have the payment break down per phase... Something like... Phase 1 - Database Design - $[login to view URL] (model and SQL script) Phase 2 - Website Design - $[login to view URL] (templates, CSS, etc.) Phase 3 - Functionality - $[login to view URL] Create account and login Phase 4 - Functionality - $[login to view URL] Add/Search/Request(etc) friends Phase 5 ........ Before adding things like groups, blogs, classifieds, etc. get the main framework working smooth. The initial design should allow a user to create an account, login, add(request)/remove friends, and messages. Then build from there.
