This is a "Web 2.0" style site that allows users to submit gift ideas. But it's pretty stripped-down. Refer to the attached wireframe, but the layout is similar to [login to view URL] and the interface and functionality is more like www.43things.com.
It's simple: users submit gift ideas and tag them with keywords. The submit form would allow users to describe the item, upload an image or link to a page. Other users can then browse (by tag categories), search and comment on the gift ideas. There is a voting functionality that allows users to determine gift idea popularity (based on a preference to "give" or "recieve" that kind of gift).
I've created a basic layout from which the rest of the site would derive from. It's very minimalist, and I will do all the wireframes which will serve as layout guidelines.
I'd like the front end done in valid XHTML + CSS that will work on all modern browsers on Mac & PC.
I've already setup the user managemement system based on this:
I'd like to integrate FreeTag for the tagging functions:
I have a domain and hosting account setup. I'd like to have a beta up and running by the end of October, if possible.
There is a potential marketing/revenue plan involved in this--I'd be open to partnering with a programmer to share any potential revenue in exchange for the development.
