21460 MySQL/PHP Educational Pages

I need someone who can do: PHP and MySql. (A little javascript is needed too, to make the java recorder work better see project 1147576757 If you agree to do THIS project, we can include that one too so I will cancel that one since I haven't gotten any bids). You have to be able to work quickly and finish this in less than a week. You must show me regular progress every day. If you can't do this, don't bother. We will make intermediate goals and if you can't show me you are working I will cancel the project immediately. Sorry, but I just had a programmer who kept promising me but never did what he said. I kept trusting and waiting and finally had to cancel it. This set me back one month. I am now in a hurry and if you have proven yourself (good rating) and you can promise and deliver, you can expect me to pay you more. I don't want the cheapest programmer, i want the best progammer I can afford. I have some flow charts and sample screens to show you (I have mentioned them below) ask me and I can make them available if you need them. I have programs that needs to be rewritten and improved. My current program is based only on reading and saving data to text files. I want to revise it and add new programs that will work with a Mysql database instead of the text files. The files I have written will help you understand the logic of the program quicker. You will rewrite the code from the bottom up since I wrote the code and am not much a programmer. I have included temporary MySql tables and fields in the description below. The programmer will know about databases enough to suggest changes, however I have written them here so you know a bit about the scope of the project. The project is for an educational website that has these pages: A. Sign-up page. allows people to sign up and set up an account. (Name, school, e-mail address (log-in user), password). Also I want to be able to add users manually. This I will do for students at my school by adding student numbers and a temporary password. There also needs to be a feature so that users can have the computer generate a new password and e-mail it to them if they forgot theirs. table: test_taker fields: `testtaker_id`, `student_id`, `school`, `last_name`, `first_name`, `email` B. Entry page. After people sign up they can log into the system and take a test or tests. In the entry page they choose a test that they will use delivered to them. table: test_definition fields: `test_name`, `item_number`, `text_prompt`, `audio_prompt`, `image_prompt`, `item_grammar`, `item_dictionary` C. Test page. This page will display a test item and allow input by the user and then save the results to the db. uses the test_definition table output goes to: table: test_token fields: `token_number`, `testtaker_id`, `time_stamp`, `test_name`, `test_type`, `item_number`, `audio_name` This page uses a java audio recorder (The java recorder is already built, but needs some small adaptations for javascript). I want to add error checking so that if no audio is recorded and sent, it will come back to the user and remind them to record or send or whatever is needed. The results of this (the name of the audio file and information about the item) needs to be sent to the MySql database. D. test jukebox choice page. This will allow a rater to choose tests to rate. It will have to scan the database and list all tests available. It will allow users to select. (See figure 3 in the pdf document). Let's do a simple test jukebox page first that only lists test in columns like testname, who took it and how many items and allow a grader to choose it this way. This should be simple to set up. I'd like to get this working quickly, so if the full version takes times let's make this simple version first which I think could be done fairly quickly. uses table: test_token (results are passed to tester jukebox (E. below) or the machine rater) The machine rater will take a list of tests and pass them through the automatic speech recognition machine and print results to a new table. It will only have to send a command to a program specifying the audiofilename, the grammar and the dictionary. E. tester jukebox. This will allow for a human rater or a machine rater. uses table: test_token output goes to: test_score test_score will include these fields: primary key linked to: test_token primary key linked to: test_rater new field: score assigned by rater F. Admin page. This will allow an administrator to add items to or delete items from the databases. This part I will need the programmer to suggest what is needed. Probably will be used to add and delete users and delete tests or defective test items. G. Defective tests. If for some reason a person does not finish a test or there are missing items in a test, there needs to be some way to handle this. I'm not sure what to do here. For example, if there are 10 items on the test and some are missing, there should be some way to indicate this. Maybe in the "D" section above, tests could be listed with some comment like: 8/10 items have been taken. H. Help me with security on this entire project, making sure my Sever, PHP and MySql settings are safe. I. Test page and maybe entry page needs to be localizable. We'll do this in English but should be ready to adapt easily to another language. Please tell me how you want to handle this.
