302288 stream audio from a webpage

I Would like to create an m3u playlist (or something similar) that links to mp3 files such that the files stream to the user when they click on the m3u link. This is easy to do when the mp3's are in a publicly available web directory, However, it is important that web users are not able to download the mp3 files directly or save them on their local systems. Usually, in the m3u file it displays the path to the mp3 files, so the path should either be inaccessbile to direct download (ie. above the public html directory of the hosting account) or protected in some other way. Please let me know if you have a solution to the above and the cost to implement. (we do not want to install server side software such as shoutcast, icecast etc...) The m3u method above would be the ideal solution, but I am open to other methods as well. Thanks -Gumscan
