What I want is a website that fulfills certain needs, but which is designed to allow additions and changes in the future. This project may have to be adjusted along the way. Posting to the message board will highly appreciated. As dfescribed below, though, this is a real project. Server is Linux RedHat. It is going to become a combination of articles, links, links with comments, all from a database. The database allows multiple use of certain text bits, which means that things should be keyworded. In version 1, the following possibilities should be in place: 1. A hierarcic publishing, with folders and subfolders 2. A news page, showing most recent additions. 3. A search solution, allowing text bits to be shown according to keywords, but also linking to standard pages as in 1. 4. Allowing multiple registered and pre-approved users to add information, but allowing the admin to override, and even delete a user including all his/her additions. The output need not be super-sophisticated, but this system allow the best possible control over all content. The layout is not a part of the project, except menus. I need smooth javascript-menus, but still only things that have been used several times before. You know, menus where you active one category, then a list of sub-categories get listed below etc. Vital here is that I get a fixed price (after consultation, if you like), then an indication of hour prices. Since there most likely will be a version 2. Also, I need to know your country.
