Brief: CMS-based Web Development and SEO for coaching website. NOTE: You will just be bidding on Phase 1. • I am initially looking for a simple 15 page website but with a CMS behind it so I can add content to the site as it grows. Features not yet developed would be “hidden” from the user's view. • The project will be done in phases. Phase 1: This phase will concentrate on basic features, Phase 2: This phase will concentrate on setting up user accounts and developing a personalized area, Phase 3: will involve setting up a calendar booking system with an ecommerce solution for the bookings, shops and referrals to partners. • Ideally I am looking for one bidding person or company to work with me throughout all the phases, but will outsource the phases separately if I have to do so. • The server runs FreeBSD and has a MySQL database (though the database could be changed). • The website will need to be mobile friendly and Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant*. You could do this by using a different set of stylesheets or offering a mobile view. • W3C standards compliance, compatibility with multiple browsers and the ability to display alternatives when certain plugins are not available. • Joomla preferred. The CMS must be easy and intuitive to use I like cms' where I have the option to edit in-page in a WYSIWYG editor, as well as via the separate admin interface– also *secure* as I am storing personal data. • The website will be developed for gradual introduction of user permissions. In other words, different levels of access to a site depending on whether they are a casual browser, hold and account or are a client. Design: The front-end design is already completed so I am looking for a programmer to stitch the psd (with which you will be provided) with the features, implement the page content, test the site and do final checks before the hand-over. You will need SOME competency in graphics design as it is likely that I may request extra buttons or a specific layout for other key feeder pages. *Accessibility requirements The WC3 Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA, part three) are all imperative upon final delivery. The website will comply with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) with level Double-A conformance to web content accessibility guidelines 1.0. To accommodate the needs of challenged users we take the following steps: Access Keys - Some browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the web site. On Windows, you can press the ‘alt' key and the access key, followed by the 'enter' key; on Macintosh, you can press the ‘ctrl' key and the access key. Navigation aids - All pages contain a link to the home page, and the menu system has been constructed in a consistent fashion throughout the website. The additional breadcrumb navigation system and selective quick links boxes are designed to reinforce awareness of the location of the page. Links & Images - Links and Images have title attributes, which describe the link in greater detail. Links are written to make sense out of context. *The website will be developed to be compatible for WAP use relating to mobile devices. This will incorporate clean html/php coding using style sheets to create a mobile friendly website. PHASES Phase 1: This phase will concentrate on basic features 1. Stitch graphics design to CMS - bearing in mind DDA compliancy and mobile friendliness, and varying content depending upon user permissions, e.g. some hot buttons may be rotated each log in using a script. 2.
