Hello,
Very soon I am looking for a web designer / developer to set up and code a complete multi-vendor online store. I know there is a large selection of software out there already, and I am leaving the decision to the winning bidder of which one to use.
All the designing will be done by myself because I am a web designer, but I have no experience with multi-vendor online stores, so I will be supplying the designs as PSD's for you to code into the software.
I am open to any software suggestions, but it does have to have the following features:
- Sellers have their own accounts to manage all their products, shipping, prices, etc...
- All payments are sent to 1 PayPal account, even though there are multiple users.
- A single cart, and a single payment, even though there may be a number of products from different sellers.
- A Search function for ALL products.
- See larger detailed pictures of the products.
- Quick page loads.
- The ability to send emails to ALL customers, like a mail shot.
- Contact Form.
- A Customer "Wish List".
- Search by Price.
- A very customisable homepage, for regular design changes (a good sample of the type of homepage I want is [url removed, login to view])
- Ability to add website pages, such as an "About Us" Page, or anything you want on there, like a CMS.
If bidding could all bidders please mention any relevant experience you have had with online stores, and what software, if you know which, you would use.
So, the winning bidder and best person for the job will set up an online store, they will then receive the design of the site from me in PSDs, and they will then code them into the store. Only sample products will be added to begin with.
