What website design styles do you like? • Simple, clean, current What colors do you want to see in your website design? • Surprise me! But no more than 3 colors please. I tend to lean towards plenty of whitespace. What colors do you NOT want to see in your website design? • Please keep within the framework of professional. That would tend to rule out the pinks-n-lavenders, fuchsia’s etc. What adjectives should best describe your website design? • Nimble Agile What content must be included in the website design? 1. Landing page: a. Logo b. Links for Home, Credentials, Services, Login c. 3 paragraphs fields • What I do • What we can do together • Let’s make it happen d. 1 large area for rotating picture e. Social Networking Links [LinkedIn, Twitter] f. Privacy Policy 2. Credentials Page a. I will have my CV/Resume here. There should be an option for it to be downloadable. There should also be a section for awards and success stories. 3. Services Page a. Website analysis, Java Coder, etc 4. Login Page a. Ultimately clients will be able to log upload/download documents here. What would you expect to see on the client login page? Let’s see it here. The style in this page may dictate the winner. You have full reign here. 5. Contact Page a. Should have contact information 6. PayPal logo a. Just the logo. I’ll scale into this @ a later date. 7. Privacy Policy Page a. Information regarding privacy and terms of use. Design must be compatible with coding in html or css (no flash) Do you have additional requirements or links you want to share? 1. I’d like to see the logo used. It is attached as a separate pic file. 2. Helvetical or Arial font family is to be used. 3. Please make great attempts to work the tagline “We Get It” into your presentation. Sites that I like 4. [login to view URL] ↑ I really like the format and the use of whitespace. It would be time well spent to somewhat mimic this format. But, I am open to inspiration! See the attached prototype that I made. [login to view URL] ↑ In addition to effective use of whitespace, I like how all of the information is displayed in the picture area. Just click a link, and the data populates the picture area. Using this style, causes all of the information to appear above the fold. User does not have to scroll up or down to see anything. Do you have mad skills like that? Let’s see….
