Project Description: We are starting a flight, hotel, holiday and car hire comparison site and need the engine for those compare sites like http://www.kayak.com/ or [login to view URL] Data will provide an XML backend interface to provide XML flight, hotel or other data to front end. You will need to present all the information on the front end to customer. The site will crawl ,(at this stage only 5 local airlines are required)various websites, and check availability on each airline for flight for example,  it will fetch price, times, and then present all the information on the front end to customer. I would like the site to be able to arrange results using AJAX on the front end The actual crawler will simulate a human, check various dates, and return that information back to our site (database driven/stored). What is needed, is to scrape these sites, and parse the results, cache the page and present it to a visitor. Should someone want to book, the session id is maintained, and the customer is redirected to the booking page of the airline. The actual results (cache) will display age of the cache, a user can refresh and get the latest prices. If you have done similar sites, please show me examples of flight comparison. It also should have a table to display one month cached price and age of the cache in index page, a user can refresh and get the latest prices.(same as kayak) The site should be developed in such a way that other features may be added by others if required. Etc, etc, etc – Tell us what other features you can add.
