Hello, the good news is that it is definitely possible in multiple ways. The hardest part is integrating it into wordpress code :) It can be done on the fly, but that is not very efficient when it comes to high number of images being uploaded at the same time. I'd suggest implementing a separate service running as a daemon, that grabs the adult flagged images from the database, creates a copy of them with a name indicating that the image is not blurred, and does the image processing on the original one. On the page you can show the the original image - that will be blurred by that time - and based on the flag you can put the 'reveal' button on it. On clicking the button a javascript can change the url to the one of the unblurred (is there a word like this? :)) image, so that it will appear instead of the blurred one. This javascript is also capable of setting a cookie to remember the decision if needed. There are some technical conditions that can make this - normally quite simple - process complicated. These are (and more my come up): - what is the os the site is running on? - do you have access to the server itself, or exclusively to the admin? - privileges you have in case you access the server - via ssh for example I have to emphasize that my current quote applies to the most simple case and the answers can have an effect on the final one.
