Hi! I need a browser addon(Google Chrome) for one click scraping of certain info from specific websites to be saved on the local hard drive. The addon should create a folder named according to the (artist and) title that's being scraped and also create an (XML) file inside that folder where further info is scraped and stored. I'm not sure about the file format but I'd like to start by adding [login to view URL] to the browser addon. This is the info I want it to scrape: artist, title, year(parenthesis), song titles including track numbers, a separate column for total tracks, URL, media type(music in this case), scraping date and time, [login to view URL] Artist: Panic! Hi, I'm a python programmer and although I can't make a chrome extension, I can make a python program that will scrape the url and do exactly what you want it to. To run the program you can just run one small command on cmd and paste the url. If that seems annoying to you then I can add the functionality of reading a TXT file. So you can just take all the links you require info from and copy paste in a TXT file. and then just run the Python program through cmd with one small line.
