We are a manufacturing business that needs to update our processes. We want to design a program that will reduce time and steps in our day to day business activities.
STEP ONE:
Currentley we receive an order and we enter the order into our:
‘ Sales Summary’ excel file
At this point we have to manually check prices and items.
We would like to have a customer drop down box to select the client, which will automatically up load address along with other details including deleivry address and billing address. (to invoice)
We would like to set up a product description box that will automatically pick up the product and correct pricing.
STEP TWO:
After we enter the Sales Summary we maunally type up a work order so the maunfacturing side of the business have the job allocation.
This needs to have all information about product type, timber type and finish. And specail comments…this should all be picked up automaticall from the:
Sales summary documet
Additinally:
We would like to link cutomer email of order and scan order to the work order file.
When entering information all fields must be enterted to create workorder and create invoice.
Price lists to be different for each customer.
Otherwise automatically requests further information.
When workorder created the sales summary changes colour to green in background.
When job is invoiced it needs to link back to Sales Summary file and state allow for invoice to be printed.
All work orders and invoices must be saved on rotating number and must be easily accessed.
Must be able to pull out reports on eack customer.
Need to be able to be able to pull reports such as workorders outstanding.
Workorders completed etc.
Need to be able to enter on the Sales Summary when invoice has been paid.
Need to be able to pull reports on whom has not yet paid invoice.
