Configure Amazon SES and Sync it with Thunderbird

1. I have a website called [login to view URL] hosted in Amazon Lightsail (see pic_1). 2. I need to configure the email info@[login to view URL] so that users can sign up through a 2-step verification process (see pic_2). 3. The domain has been verified, but the email verification is causing problems (see pic_3). An Amazon technician told me it's because I don't have a "mail server" configured and told me that to receive emails through SES I needed an S3 bucket, SNS or Lambda. I'm not familiar with that. I just want an email address that works. 4. I need someone to help me move out of sandbox mode by opening an SES Sending Limits Increase case (see pic_4). Then I need to be able to send and receive emails so that I can interact with users. I already have my Amazon SMTP credentials. I've set up my Thunderbird client but am getting problems because the server is not properly configured (see video_1). 5. After talking with Amazon technicians I understand that Amazon SES is a service used to relay emails and is not a managed email client like gmail, yahoo etc. However, they have Amazon WorkMail, which costs $4/month. Is it a good option? Is Amazon WorkMail more or less the same as Thunderbird? 6. Amazon says that I need to have a process to handle bounces and complaints. By default Amazon sends emails. Is it enough, or is it better to create SNS? How can I see and handle bounces and complaints? On the Amazon website, on Thunderbird, or on both? 7. I’ve read many comments on part of users who complain that their Amazon emails go to “spam” folders in the recipients’ accounts. Could you help me avoid this? 8.
