Convert character sheet phpBB2 mod to function with phpBB3

First off, knowledge of roleplaying games in general and White Wolf's Mind's Eye Theatre system would be helpful, but not essential to the project. I run a LARP (Live Action Roleplaying game) that utilizes a database program called Grapevine. Grapevine can output data for characters in a single XML file. I wish to provide my players with the ability to securely access their character sheets online by uploading this XML file to the website and having the phpBB mod parse it and return the appropriate information, formatted properly. I need to be able to associate a character with a forum account, and preferably be able to associate more than one character with a given account in case a player has multiple characters. Finally, I would like to be able to give "admin" access to certain accounts, so that they can browse all available characters. I have found a phpBB2 mod that provided much of this functionality, so it may be possible to re-use much of the code. Frankly, though, I'm not positive how much of it can be translated over into phpBB3. I can provide the old mod for reference, and an example of the xml file on request. Thank you! ## Deliverables I don't need formal documentation for the vast majority of the project, but as mentioned above, I do need a full write up for installation on any reasonably normal phpBB3 setup, as I will likely be allowing others to use it. I am willing to entertain alternative approaches to this - if it is easier to create an entirely separate webpage that reads the XML file for example, I can consider that if the price is more reasonable.
