Customize, Fix image resizing and cropping with php

Urgent project ! I would like to make some customization and changes in a PlayTube script : 1) link channels by category : channels can be sort by category. When user click on a category on the left menu, show all the channels linked to this category. 2) Channel poster image (Save image category in film poster) 3) Featured channels (show featured channels on the homepage) 4) Feature to order or Reorder videos in channel. 5) Show a slideshow in the homepage. my playtube installation: [login to view URL] We want to show channels images in a grid mode (responsive) with a specific image ratio : When the user upload the image, the script resize and crop it.
