Edit Wordpress to show video in featured image location

Hello We run a website called Energeticcity.ca. This is a local news and information website. We run wordpress and the theme newspaper. What we'd like to do is customize the theme so that when we have a video for a post, the video is displayed in the feature image location of the post template. Our staff would need an easy way to copy and paste in the html code (example below) from our video provider Playbuzz.com. Some of our posts will still have a featured image, so this will have to be an option we select when creating a post.
