Employer Gets Alert When Applicant Applied for Job

I have many years of experience providing business and technology solutions to a wide range of industries. I even have experience on the recruiting side via the human resources department of a large construction company and consulting for an independent placement agency. So without being sure what is already implemented on your side here is my general proposal. We would need further discussions to refine the actual deliverables. 1) Create a webpage for an employer to post a job requirement. (If not already implemented.) * 2) Create a webpage for a potential employer to apply for a job (if not already implemented) * * - I can't see into the existing website([!]) areas where a login is required to determine if this functionality is already there. 3) Create a mechanism to deliver alerts to employers based on their selected frequency. We would have to discuss the best delivery mechanism for this. You may want to stay away from sending attached excel files as they can get rejected by employer email servers. The most reliable process would be a text email sent via a chron job run from your hosting server. 4) Create a webpage to show current employer alert frequency and have the ability to change the frequency. Solution Proposed: when a candidate applies an event is fired to check if the employer has set any alert and what's the frequency, then candidate details will be saved in a table in order to send alert to employer at a later time. On the other hand a cron job will run after a specified time to check for the alerts to be sent to employers and will send due alerts. this is just one simple solution we can use and discuss better engineered solutions as well.
