Install mail function onserver & custom code on website

1. I want to install mail function to my Linux server. Currenlt it cannot send mail - e.g. Contact form submitted doesnt reach me, or cannot send receipt after order is made. 2. I also have another website, where i can post and have Soudcloud track streamed directly on the site. I want to custom the code a bit so whenever I dont input a Soundcloud link (e.g iTunes link), on the frontend, when I click on the thumbnail, it would take people to that iTunes page.
