Hello. The issue is most probably related to the number of requests has increased as traffic to your website increases in time. Beside this, your database might need to be cleaned and optimised too. So, it is less probable that it is due to jQuery ajax request codes. Caching might be a solution to decrease the request to database. If your response results do not change very frequently then the results might be cached for a while like an hour. I am competent in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML. So, I might help you.

I can look at this right away for you, but chances are that you just have so much data in your database it takes some time for the script to do whatever it does. No way of knowing without looking.

Hi, would it be possible to have a link of the project to fix? Something those issue lay either in the Network itself, or MySQL and need more server optimisations then code modifications. But it does happen that it's also the code. A bit hard to tell without being able to launch my tools to diagnose the issue. Wishing you a great day.
