Modify opencart journal 3 filter module

I need OpenCart journal 3 theme filter module to show how many products were selected for filtering. A message should be displayed after the Filter title (and clear button) and before the first filter option. 1. If no filter choices were selected, no message should be displayed. 2. If filter choices were selected, message should be displayed: "Products selected: XXX" 3. If on mobile device, a button should be displayed below message that says "Show selections". If user clicks it, it will close the popup window (instead of having to click the "X" button)
