I designed, developed and implemented many end user systems, combining Access-Front End and MS Excel-Reports for different clients and different industries. From your short description of the project I understand that you need full scale application to move all the data and functionality from your excel spreadsheets to Access database. First step I will need to analyze how you are currently using your excel database, new data entry and how and where you are using current data from excel. Very important is your vision of the future system functionality, its purpose and what you need to accomplish with new application. At this stage I need to analyze, sort data and import from excel to access in related tables and crate additional tables if needed. Second step would be to design and create forms for different functionality tasks and data entry Third step is reporting.
