Hi, thanks for posting an interesting project. Looks like you need to build email tracking software using PHP. I've worked with a similar project before and I have wide range of experience when it comes to email tracking and PHP. Actully there is no easy way to track if email is opened. But here is the trick. We can generate an url which takes some string as an identification and returns an image as a response and this image will be attached to the email. So when user opens email, request is sent on our side and we identify which email was that. I'm a senior PHP developer with 5+ years of experience and I think I can complete this project in 1 day. what you ask for is not possible if the users you are send the email to are not using the same software and/or server as you are using.
