No need of OCR. Just a program to detect pixels other than straight lines.

Everyday, I scan things.
I want to measure I much I wrote during the day.
Suppose I wrote "I want an apple"
Best program : Perfectly OCR every word and recognizes "I want an apple" (I almost give up this best program)
2nd best program : It recognizes "I want an apple" are words not pictures, but doesn't actually know it is "I want an apple". It simply detects they are words
2.1 best program : and then counts how many words there are. There are 4 words.
2.2 best program : It can't count the words, but just measures how many pixels the sentence have.
3rd best program : Just exclude all straight lines in blue or red, and then everything else will be what I wrote. So Just measure how many words I wrote there.
Again, If counting the number of words is impossible, then counting the total line length of words is OK (If you exclude blue and red parts, other lines will be all words.), or counting the total pixels of words is also OK if it correctly measures all words, and only words.

Hi
I read your description, but i think i can do the following:
1. Exclude straight Blue/Red line
2. and Count the total pixels in the sentence after excluding straight lines
The pdf you sent is like empty papers.
Can you sent sample of these pictures?
Thanks
