Online HR Management System

Hi, I have this above mentioned project to be done by July 17th. It is simple system with basic functions. My requirement is mainly get the PROJECT DOCUMENTATION done according a structure I will be providing. Please see the project scope below. The XXX Ltd is a leading marine service company based in Sri Lanka. Currently they use a manual HR system to store all relevant details of employees. As the company grows with new employees been recruited the management has identified the necessity of an online HR system. The proposed system involves a dashboard for the management to review and evaluate employee performance, calculation of leave balance, easy editing of personal details in case of change (Address, title), and keeping track of employees salary details including salary slips. Objectives 1. Easy administration and access of data to the HR department and management. 2. Reduce cost and the wastage of stationary. 3. Employees will receive fast and accurate feedback on requests through the system 4. Increase communication between relevant departments through the system 5. Would be easy for the management to compare evaluate and make informed decisions. 6. Increase security of employee details due to a centralised system. System Administration Create and maintain profiles for all staff members. Assign privileges according to user roles. Admin/Management must be able manage all the staff details. Backup details on a timely basis. 2. Report Generation The HR dept. / management could generate desired reports of employees. View Employee details and salary details. Evaluate the work force and 3. Employee Self Service Change details such as address, Contact details and bank details with prior approval form the management. Schedule and apply for leave. View employees payroll information 4. Recruitment of new employees Request for new staff via the system Upload and shortlist applicants in the system for further reference. Pass on the selected applicants to the next relevant department automatically via the system. 5. Monitoring Attendance The HR department could synchronise the system with the existing attendance tracking system so that the HR system could automatically be updated. 6. Calculating EPF and ETF System is automatically calculating EPT and ETF amounts of the employees based on their given basic salary. Moreover, those will be deducted from salary automatically and provide the net salary for the month. 7. Calculating Salary A separate user interface provided to the system operators so they can prepare salary payments easily. This is an automatic calculation. User only have to select the Employee name or ID and the month and then Salary for the specified month will be calculated. In addition, it will deduct all the deductions such as company loans, EPF and it will give the net salary for the month. 8. Print / Save Salary Slips Net Salary will be displayed in Jasper Viewer according to salary slip format given by the XXX Limited and users can either print the slip or save it in PDF format.
