Running a Wordpress WooCommerce Website for 4 years. Keep discovering it will build up hundreds of MB of error log. High I/O and high CPU usage, and there were many faults in a day (as you can see from the chart). Sometimes it reaches the limited and cause 500 Internal Server Error. Need upgrade to newer version. Existing Configuration: Wordpress 4.6.19 WooCommerce 3.1.2 About 25 active plugins Php 5.6 Tasks: 1. Perform upgrade to latest version of Wordpress, WooCommerce, and crucial plugins, with minimal impact on the appearance and functionality. 2. Set up new theme (which is an update version of the existing theme) 2. Check and solve the problem of the continuation of buildup of hundred Megabytes of error logs. 3. Optimization of the scripts and this reduce CPU usage and I/O. Has to be done in testing environment and the production website cannot be interrupted. After all tasks and testings are completed, migrate back to the production environment to minimize interruption.
