I have an excel spreadsheet that works as a software for company valuation. This software should be accessed only by those clients that are active in our database. So, what I need is the following:
1) Once you open the excel, all the spreadsheets should be hidden, only showing the first one with a form for the client to type his/her username and password.
2) Then, the VBA should connect to a SQL and validate: that the user exists, the credentials (username and password) are correct, the current day is not greater than the expiration date of the licence and the number of active licences is lower than the total number of licence that the client purchased.
3) if 2 is OK, then increase the number of active licences in the SQL by one.
4) Once the VBA allows the user to enter, display only four sheets (these sheets will always have the same name). In one sheet, lets call it Dashboard, the client will be able to type the ticker of a company (lets suppose: AAPL), then the VBA should download and paste in the remaining three sheets three files that we have hosted in our VPS... these files will be hosted always in the same folder and the name is [login to view URL]
Thats it.
Once the client closes the workbook, the VBA should connect to the DB and decrease the number of active licences by one.
