Wanted: Ambitious Young Web Developer to Join our Team

We are a small software development company that's been in the business of building Killer Mobile Apps for 12 years and are looking for a new member of our team. Your work will be interesting, fast paced and always evolving. You'll be a key part of building some very cool things, while at the same time building up your own skill set while working with our current extremely talented team. We are looking for someone that is comfortable with: PHP / MySQL / JSON / HTML / CSS / JavaScript / Ajax / Linux command prompt A huge bonus, is if you have experience of (not required, but can be learned in time): GIT, Secure coding concepts, debugging code, database design, graphic design / layouts, modding existing large web projects We are not necessarily looking for a "Guru" in any of the above. We take a long view approach with our entire team and are willing to work with you as your skills develop over time. We'd prefer a young, ambitious up and coming developer, than a tired, burned out pro, and are certain you'll enjoy working with us and on our projects. A few Caveats: * Must work under an NDA * All work will be performed as "Work for Hire" * Half Time to Start. Full time potential * Work when & where you want. Hours & Days worked are entirely up to you as long as the results are there. To filter the ideal candidates we have put together a Challenge to gauge your current skill set (among other things). Please give us a Quotation on the time it will take you to complete the task. We will select multiple candidates to perform the challenge and pay for the hours required. 1. Set up a free AWS EC2 micro instance running a Linux distribution, thereafter: install a LAMP installation via SSH on this instance. This server can then be used to perform the following tasks below. A. Write a secure web login interface in PHP, the credentials of this login can already be stored on a database. B. When the user has logged in, present the user with a file upload interface. Upon user submission of the file, it must then be stored encrypted in a database. C. Write a simple web API that responds to a JSON RPC 2.0 request, invoking a method that returns the sum of two numbers.
