Hi, Greetings for the New Year !! I am a veteran HL7 interface engineer and interoperability consultant. I am working with IHE closely. Recently performed as a monitor with IHE connectathon and working as technical committe member with IHE IT infrastructure committee. I bring expertise in Interface development & specifications around HL7, CCD/CCDA and Mirth/Iguana/ensemble integration. I have been involved in Development, build and testing of new interfaces using HL7 standards and other proprietary interface models with various EMRs and Vendors. I have vast experience with clinical data transfer using HL7 Standards be it 2.X, 3.X, CCD, C-CDA, etc .We have strong understanding of various HL7 formats such as ADT, CDA, ORM, ORU, MDM, DFT, SIU messages. So I am equally strong on Mirth as well as Iguana .Choice between Iguana and Mirth Connect is purely based on the depth of implementation. Mirth stands good if you just have point to point integration, but If you need enterprise version with some workflow integration then Iguana has more intuitive user interface, also web based dashboard and strong logging mechanism. It also has Web API , so we can create custom portals using those API. Iguana also gives more granular ACL .
