Public Transport fleet Management

I am looking at a development of an app that is similar to Uber for public transport such as taxis and buses, the app to assist both commuters in terms of tracking where the next available transport is and the and the relevant schedules, assist fleet owners to track all the locations of their vehicles, routes and driving patters of drivers, and the rank operator to be able to track full fleet including the queuing ant the ranks and departures, the overall functionality to include the following: • See exactly where the vehicles are • Driver identification • Detailed speed, driving and positioning reports • Receive sms and email alerts • Provide real time and historical data of everywhere the vehicle has been • Tax logbook Commuters • Public transport commuters to be able to track where the transport or how far from the bus/taxi stop • Where there are transport schedules, commuters to be able to view them • Be able to see which driver and their profile • Rate drivers • Rate trips Transport Provider • To be able to track the full fleet and their different locations • Be able to see whether its stationery or in motion • Be able to track accidents and traffic, to be able to advise on route change etc. • Be able to track driving speed of drivers • Track trips including filling up at a garage for re-fueling • Track mileage covered • Track average petrol usage based on trips and driving speed • Recommend travel routes • Alerts when official routes are bridged • Be able to see which driver is driving • View driver ratings • See how far own fleet is regarding queuing at the rank • See how long it takes to que at different times of the day Taxi marshal or operator at the rank • Track full queuing list • Track where balance of the fleet is and how far • Stats on number of departures from the rank
