AWS DevOps Engineer

DevOps AWS SME will be supporting an existing configuration management team of 9 to plan, design and implement an AWS infrastructure in order to automate deployment using technologies such as Jenkins and Ansible. The DevOps AWS SME will be working with application servers like Tomcat and Memcached in an 80% Windows/20% Linux environment. The DevOps AWS SME will also work with the development and infrastructure teams to help introduce containerization tools such as Docker to the environment. Required Skills: 5+ years’ experience working in a configuration management environment 3+ years’ experience developing AWS/Cloud environments 3+ years’ experience using SVN and/or Git for version control of the code 3+ years’ experience using Jenkins as a continuous integration tool 3+ years’ experience using deployment tools, Ansible preferred Strong experience with application servers such as Tomcat and/or Memcached Strong experience using application packaging and deployment tools, Docker preferred Strong working understanding of code and script such as Python and/or Ruby Experience working in both Unix and Linux environments Knowledge of HTTP, SSL, LDAP, SQL, HTML, XML in order to be able to navigate the internet Preferred or Nice to Have Skills: Experience with MSBuild or ANT/Nant
