I have experience in working with both Excel and Word and imagine that you have a word-doc that is basically formatted in some structured data format (like JSON, XML, HTML, or similar) and you want to have a function that will search the File name entered for the data 'header' (also known as title/label/key) and return the data 'value' to the Excel spreadsheet. I'll be easily able to implement the above using a VBA code that will be called to get the outcome. Do you need the Macro to be activated as a complement in the Excel quick start menu or with a button in the Excel sheet? And do you want me to ask you where the folder of the Word files will be or do you want to predetermine it in the code?
