JOB DESRIPTION:
Responsible for building a number of IaaS tools to support the IaaS SDI deployments. Responsibilities include Understand Product roadmap and manages product inventory accordingly. Manage the operational processes design and strategy and ongoing ownership for the relevant processes for IaaS operations. Define value-based strategy to improve these processes, delivering cost efficiencies, improved security and a superior client experience. Working as part of the ITSM streams on these processes. He/she should be able to Conduct Regular senior reporting of conformance with ITSM progress against the ITSM milestones. Analyze service failures, understand root/cause and determine correct response. Interaction with individuals representing IaaS process streams to steer and solve operational issues. Understand and propose related tools and transition opportunities linked to the processes Manage the Sunrise infrastructure and provide guidance in managing the core components of Sunrise Drive efficiency to and Infrastructure requirements to the Openstack and VMWare initiatives to deploy and manage the environments in various datacenter
Manage /configure Splunk dashboards and configurations Collaborate with Engineering and operations to develop new infrastructure components & requirements Full interaction with Greenfield (AppHost) team to design and deliver efficient solutions for the new environment Manage the OS release cycles for Windows, Linux, VMware He/she will be Responsible for support an application that builds and configures thousands of Linux and Windows machine. The candidate will participate in the Q/A of new application releases, 3rd level escalation point for application issues, Windows & RHEL patching and O/S releases. The ability to clearly communicate with customers to announce releases and resolve issues is a must. This is a demanding environment with emphasis on responsiveness and problem ownership. Organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and projects as required
