I have a small project that I need done as soon as possible. I download files from a website and process them. About one out of five hundred files has a period in the name like BF.B. In order for the database to properly process the request, those dots need to be removed. Please include in your response the words immediate Python project so I know you've read this. I have an ongoing need for someone who knows Python -- projects every week. Hello, I read your project and "immediate Python project". I can complete your project quickly but can you please provide more information? Do you have a python script already for downloading files from the website? And Python scripts which files it is downloading? Just before downloading a file, you need to put if statement to check whether the link or name of the files contain dots or not. IF not, it will start to download, if it contains then split('.') and rejoin them with the correct title. I ensure every requirement of yourself except US business hours because of my location.
